Lt Gen RP Singh, Western Army Commander visited Yol Cantt and Palampur military station to review the operational readiness and COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, GOC, Rising Star Corps briefed him about the current situation, operational preparedness and efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lt Gen RP Singh also interacted with civil officials andfelicitated Mr Rajesh Kumar Prajapati, IAS Deputy Commissioner Kangra forcommendable efforts in containing and instituting adequate measures to containthe spread of corona pandemic.

Thereafter, Army Commander visited Palampur Military Station and interacted with the doctors and staff of the dedicated COVID hospital and COVID Care Center. He lauded the Corona Warriors for their relentless efforts in preparedness to fight against the pandemic and rendering selfless service to the nation.
